OFF-STAGE EVENTS                                                                   DATE: 03RD AUG (SATURDAY)

Dear Parents,

Let’s provide a powerful means of personal expression allowing our curious mavericks convey ideas, emotions and identities through these creative processes. These activities are open and independent. It helps them to stretch their minds beyond the boundaries of the printed text and the rules of what is provable…

NOTE:

Kindly register for the same by July 27th. Each student is mandated to take part in Minimum one activity each (1off stage and 1 on stage) or Maximum of three activities in all. The participant will not disclose his or her name, class or section; you will only mention your code given by the class teacher. The decision of judges will be final.

v  Sculpture Activity:

Time: 45 minutes to 1hr      Theme: Historical Monuments

Materials to be used: cardboards, clay, newspaper rolls etc.

You can come prepared with the cutouts and create your sculpture by assembling the same in the class. You will be judged on the basis of the following criteria “Originality, Presentation, Creativity and material used “.Bring your own stationery, pair of scissors, cardboard, glue etc. sharing will not be allowed

v  Fireless Cooking    Time : 45 minutes to 1hr

Judgment will be based on these criteria “Creativity, Table setting, Nutrition value and unique name”. No readymade items should be used. Make one main course with a beverage if desired. The participants can bring only boiled items, if required. Display the name of the dish. Bring your own cutlery, cleaning cloth, tissue, knife, trays, chef hat, apron etc. Bring three spoons/ forks/toothpicks for tasting. Don’t forget to clear the workstation before you leave.

v  Water Color Painting:    Time : 45 minutes to 1hr

Theme: Incredible India/ My favorite freedom fighter/My True friend Judgment will be based on “Originality, Creative skill in brushwork, blend of colors, intent”. Bring your own portrait on a A4 size ivory chart sheet to avoid smudging. Keep your place neat and tidy. Bring your own colors, stationery, pallet, brush, cloth, cup to clean the brush etc. Sharing will not be allowed.

"Embrace Your Talent: Where Stars Are Discovered and Dreams Ignite!" ON - STAGE EVENTS                                                                                 DATE: 5th AUG (MONDAY)

Dear Parents,

As the saying goes, “Only studies and no play make Jack a dull boy”. Here comes the time to allow the students to unleash their hidden talents, let them shine bright, in the realm of the stage, dazzle with all their might. Let’s join in the talent hunt, where stars are born, in every act and performance, uniqueness are adorned. From singing to dancing, acting to more, discover the talents, let them soar.

Embracing this opportunity, seize the chance, to express themselves, in their own dance. In the world of talent, there's room for all, Come, take part, and heed the call!

NOTE: The participant will not disclose his or her name, class or section. You will only mention your code given by the class teacher. The decision of the judges will be final.

v  Folk Dance:                 Duration 2 Minutes Theme: Indian Folk Dance (Any Language)

Criteria: Students will be judged based on Costume, theme, music and performance

Students need to use their own costumes. Likewise, the song can be of any language of their choice.

v  Mime Act (Solo):               Duration 2 Minutes               Theme: Effect of Social Media Criteria: Students will be judged on originality, performance and creativity.

This is a solo act; all arrangement is to be done by the participants.

v  Masquerade as your favorite scientist:                  Duration 1 Minute Theme: Dress up as per their favorite scientist

Criteria: Student will be judged based on Costume, theme and expression.

Students are tasked with introducing themselves as their chosen character and elaborating on the discoveries made. Costumes are to be arranged by the students.

v  Singing (Solo): Duration 1 Minute

Theme: Patriotic Songs (Indian and Language: Hindi, Kannada or English) Criteria: Student will be judged based on voice quality, pronunciation clarity and no error or lapse of memory.

The student must sing one verse and one chorus for any of the Indian Patriotic songs. Again, the song can be of any above mentioned language.
